On Tuesday morning, January 4th 2010, all inhabitants of Europe, North Africa and West Asia will have unique opportunity to marvel at one of the most unique and stunning astronomical phenomena – the solar eclipse. The eclipse will be visible on large areas of Poland. More than 80% of the Sun’s disc will be covered by the Moon. This incredibly spectacular view will satisfy all true photographers, especially those specializing in astrophotography.

Delta company, the general distributor and representative of Samyang company for Poland and Europe, organized the photographic contest “Solar Eclypse seen with Samyang lens”. The most interesting photography of the solar eclipse from 4th of January 2011, taken with the Samyang lens is the main goal and general theme of the contest. According to Rules and Regulations of the competition, “Voucher of PLN 500” will be awarded to the author of the best photo.

All participants of the competition should remember about all necessary precautions to be taken when watching and photographing the solar eclipse.
